Case Study - Expanding a Supply Base

Eastern Europe was viewed as a significant area of supply for a range of products relevant to our FTSE100 listed client, but they had limited experience with key contacts within this region.

Greenbank was issued with a clear brief to present a wide range of potential suppliers within specific categories.

Information was gathered using in-house resources with language skills and specialist expertise in the food industry. The project delivered 160 suppliers across the meat, poultry, dairy, and vegetable sectors. All data was validated prior to being sent to the user and comprised; Key contacts, company name, company address, telephone number and area of expertise.

Additional projects include work for a client requiring lists of Pizza suppliers ahead of a contract renewal. Greenbank presented eight significant UK based producers and 12 continental producers, allowing cost comparisons for products and transport across a spectrum of suppliers.
